Take the batteries out? Well seriously use some RTV and cover both sides
the RTV is elastic enough to take the vibrations unlike super glue which
hardens like a rock.

I bent a piece of coathanger to hold it in place on my 76 FLH . Put it
under the case bolt right next to the plug ... or you might find a clip
designed for this in one of the parts catalogs .

Somebody somewhere makes a little stainless wire clip for this. Or you
could go to a welding store and buy a welding rod for tig welding stainless
and make one yourself. A friend of mine had this problem and bought one at a
bike shop (you guessed it) somewhere.

I've got a small thin bracket that mounts to the motor mount, the bracket
then goes up to push up against and hold the plug in place. I'd be happy to
take a picture of on my bike to show you what it is. Email me with bracket
in the subject so I don't delete it by mistake. I have a wedding to go to
today so it may be tomorrow before I can answer. I'm taking my camera so
I'll go out and take one of it on the bike now should you want to see it.
Not to be advertising for someone but I go it here. I don't think Tom shows
it on his site but you can call and order one from him, I didn't see it. I
will give you his number when you email, should you want one that is. I
don't remember what it cost.

I sent it to you, hope you don't mind. Bugs on bike are from last weekend. A
few of us went to a open house. It made a nice 170 mile ride. I have not
gotten around to washing it yet.
I'd be happy to send the picture to other's who have the same problem and
may want to look into this style of help.
