No Power to Headlight, 1996 Magna [message #455100] Fri, 30 September 2005 07:36

Hello there Folks..

I’m in the process of putting a 1996 Honda 750 Magna back on the road.

The headlight doesn’t work..

Everything else does seem to work (signal lights, brake lights, etc)

I put a Volt meter on the Headlight connector, and found no power

Checked the fuse, and it was good..

Removed the fuse, checked for power and found none..

What’s next?

I am sure the volt meter is working, as i tested the signal lights
from
the fuses, as well as the battery.

Thanks for your help...

Brent

The start switch. Really. One of the functions of the start switch
is to turn off just about everything else while the starter is
running. If that contact is burned or open, the headlight won't work.
