98k miles (I travel a lot)
The car will seem to run fine for a while, but if it has been running for
an hour or so it starts having hiccups where the engine seems to
momentarily lose power. By feathering the throttle I can get through it
(it has only happened for a couple of days). At higher speeds it does
happen but it is not very severe, at a stop condition it makes it
difficult to get the car to accelerate without dropping RPM's to the point
of stalling it.
I took it to a mechanic who replaced the fuel filter, said I was good, and
then the problem promptly started again before I could get home.
Thanks in advance...

It needs new spark plug wires.
