I'd replace the condenser, really good chance that this is the problem.

Does that motorbike have a battery-and-coil ignition system, or does it
have an energy transfer magneto?
If it's battery-and-coil, you should get battery voltage on the
positive terminal of the coil when you turn the key on. You would have
a wire going from the switch to the ignition coil. That means you need
a good battery in the motorbike.
If it's an energy transfer magneto, you have a low voltage coil inside
the flywheel and the spinning magnets induce electicity in the ignition
coil on the frame. You wouldn't need a battery. The wire from the
ignition switch would ground out the ignition points when you turned
the switch off. You wouldn't even need the ignition switch connected to
the wiring harness and the engine would start.

Did you ever get spark at the plug? What was the problem? I’m having
the same issue with an old bike with a points ig system.

I’ve got spark! I had wired my coil, condenser and points wrong after
tearing down and cleaning everything. I looked in the manual and did
some searches.
Condenser always goes between the coil and the points.
On my 74 XL175 K1 :
-Black/White stripe wire from wiring harness female plugs into coil
black/White stripe male.
-Blue coil female to condenser male.
-Condenser Female to Points Male.
