I have a 1999 Grand Cherokee and am worried about the trans. It down shifts
rough and doesn't seem to up shift at the right time. Will a complete flush
help ? Or culd it be the throttle body valve ?
Does anyone have any sugestions ???

Get it looked at by a local transmission shop. And avoid AAMCO and
similar chains like the plague. It could be as trivial as some idiot
put in the wrong fluid, or it could just be low or need adjust. Or
dirt and crud on the connectors to/from the transmission controls, not
an uncommon problem if the vehicle has been driven in water.
