Hi!
I'm driving a Hyundai Starex 4x4 CRDI and would like to change the tire
size. Anyone with experience here?

It seems as if the model would not be on sale in the US. It's the 9
seated transporter quite common in switzerland but the problem is the
german technical survey.

I am driving Starex 4x4 TCI. For more information i started a group at
yahoo, see http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/starex_4x4/
There are some people with more experience on your topic like matnic13
from Costa Rica. Look through the messages. There ist also a file about
tire and rimsizes of common offroad tires eventually fitting on starex.

I joined the group. Seems as if we live quite close. My place is at the
western end of the lake of Constance in southern Germany.

I doubt some of the values in the table. Smaller diameters and longer
circumferences don't fit together.

Afaik, Starex (or Satellite in france) is a van type car, available as
2WD or 4WD, which is Hyundai biggest SUV.
Available in 7 or 9 seats configuration and with 2.4l petrol (112
horses) and 2.5l diesel engine (100/140 horses).
