As I said this particular dealer will not offer any mods such as slip-ons I
checked a couple others and they will offer the service. Don't ask me but
kinda of fickle. Next thing they all will be E85 fuelers.

True, I know I would be pissed but HD would not let the cat out of the bag
their 06 sales would not be good because everyone would be waiting for the
07 models. Wish crystal balls work.

I must have missed the part in every one of their posts (in several
newsgroups) where the nay sayers stated or even alluded that they were
ever intending on buying one to begin with. Probably would have went
something like this:
"I was thinking, pondering, musing, considering, etc, etc, etc, about
buying one of the new '07 HD motorcycles, but decided not to for the
various reasons (already stated), blah, blah, blah."
Oh I get it now, you imagined that's what they were thinking. Thank you

Heh, I'm sure you have :) But I'm afraid that's not an option. Dutch
government and some european rules make it very difficult and very
expensive to import a motorcycle (or car) yourself.
You pay shipping cost, taxes, Custom, another stupid tax and have
to let it check if it's 'roadworthy' to get a license plate. Even if
it's almost new. Not to mention the weeks or months this is gonna take.
Some people did import a bike from the US and discovered that the older
the bike, the more you benefit from it. The bike has to be at least 9
years or older if you want to make a (very small) buck. To make a long
story short: It isn't worth the hassle and the cost will practically be
the same as you buy a bike that came through the 'normal'import
channels.

That's right! No taxes or whatsoever on that stuff. Hell, some of the
drugs are 'homegrown' here. No need for import! ;)
The government is out of his mind overhere. It's forbidden to grow or
import cannabis, hashish, marijuana, mushrooms, smart drugs and cannabis
seeds but it's legal to sell and buy it here in 'coffee shops'.

I knew that. Likewise.
Speakin' of shitty service, we rent a couple of porta shitters for th'
ParTay weekend every year for about $100.00 per. Jeanne called a
newer outfit in town and we got 'em for $70.00 per... that's some real
coldbeer money there! Then yesterday I was talkin' about my great
savings to th' local tavern owner who has one of th' expensive guys
shitters and he tells me he gets it for $45 per mo! So I did what any
full O' shit murdersickle tramp would do, I took a *big*, stinkin'
PayPal in it.

Heheh! Yeah I know, but that are only the seeds. It's illegal to grow
them in larger amounts. But they say it's very lucrative to grow them
and sell them to coffee shops...but it remains illegal though.

No charge. Lots cheaper than replacin' th' fuckin' drain field like
we had to do in '02 after 50+ people used th' bathrooms inna house,
pretty much 24/7 for three+ days. That one cost me a couple grand.
