That be the one. All my brain was kicking out was "Turtle Blues" and I

Although the sound of somebody droppin' a whiskey bottle in the middle

Yup. But then, I'm 45 and she's known me half her life so familiarity,
as they say, breeds contempt. :)=)} Actually, we've had some wonderful
conversations lately -- there are days she's clearly not visiting this
planet and I just take it as I find it. She gets a charge out of it, I
like to see her happy, and I know that the next day she'll be somewhere
else and we can have a nice conversation about that, too.

Well, occasionally on my bald head, yeah. Otherwise, as Donna has so
effectively reminded me, around my neck. That was a cold weekend --
allegedly in Southern Illinois in June, but felt more like northern
Alberta in September. Everyone was wearing everything they had.

And in my nights, too. Although I still believe consensual reality to
be highly over-rated, I have also come to appreciate its occasional
madcap moments. All taken with all, I find that as I get older I have
less to apologize for the next morning.

Skiv,
Ya, I guess you're right about being so known to someone that they can be
free to say what they please.
I'm 50 and my Mom passed on a year ago April. Glad for her as her body
wouldn't let her do anything and that includes speaking. I miss our visits.
We
were best friend for a long, long time. I know you enjoy your visits with
your mom and that's great.
It was only last month that I was wearing a bandana around my neck and
sometimes
my face. Here in northern NY it can get pretty bitter. I hope we ride right
up till
snow and some beyond but my husband says he is putting the Harley in the
*house*
when winter starts.
Skiv, how funny. I find the older I get the more I long to do, say, and
think of something
I need to apologize for. Mid life had me climbing mountains instead of what
I *really*
might like to try. :o) Enough said.
Hope your day is a good one Skiv.
How about a drink Shirley for both of us,
Susie

No, not on that one. There are more people pics on my bike site. Stuff
from the old MITMs, MAMBM, etc. I need to add tons of stuff to the photo

dp,
I did some searching at google groups today and found out about their
book but thanks for the ISBN number.
I also found out Skiv's birthday is Aug. 29th. Haven't found
his age for sure yet. :) I think if I added things right, he will be 51 but
not sure.
Thanks for the photo. It is a nice one,

was searching to find some stories and found those tidbits.

Susie--you seem a little...er...TOO interested in Skiv (like why would
you care about his age???). Let me help you out: you're off on his
age and his availability. We all love him, but Penny's got his love
and has since way before they were married. In fact, his post about
their engagement triggered an email from Pooder to me, ultimately
resulting in our marriage.

We're a close-knit group around here.

On the contrary.
If you know Len, it's obligatory to tell him to fuck off.
It makes him feel at "home"... as it reminds him of saltwater taffy,
the shore, and those sausage thingies he loves on the Boardwalk.
