You have excellent taste. An extraordinary value that I've introduced and
made regular in more than one netscum household is Bowmore Legend. Can be
found generally in the $19-23 range and for my money is comp with Laphroaig
10. But neither bat an eye at Lagavulin 16.

Ok -- let's put this to rest because it's become one of the sillier
sidebars in an already nutty thread. I agree with you and did so even
before you spoke up - it is not possible for me to speak on behalf of
anyone because nobody has granted that to me. It was always a logical
impossibility. I really did think somebody would notice that and we'd
have a good chuckle but it didn't work out that way. I apologize (for
myself!) for raising the noise level with what I knew ahead of time to
be a folly. Perhaps without the other heated discussions co-habiting the
thread this would have been quickly picked up. There's probably a reason
why Russ is the funniest biker in the world.

And just what exactly is your investment in this relationship other
than a couple of hours behind your keyboard? You guys (and I mean this
in general, not you specifically) don't seem to mind that Panhead
changes his name 12 times a day and lies through his teeth constantly.
And not just Panhead, many of our other resident Trolls as well. What
I see is a bunch of arrogant blowhards woof woof woofing because they
got taken in by 3 blondes with a slightly embellished story and are
embarassed about it. Did any of you honestly think that you had a real
chance with a beautiful 26 year old? Now you find out you may not and
are running around screaming "injustice!" and pissing on your own
feet. To what lengths would you go to find out where personal effects
were that had been stolen from you by some dirtbag? Personal effects
that were stolen from your dead sister? Anyone here would have done
exactly the same thing in the same situation. Don't believe that was
the situation? Big deal. You have NO personal investment in any of
this, as far as I can tell. NONE OF IT MATTERS. Her checks to Eddie
didn't bounce, that's the only thing that matters. And who I invite to
my house is *my* business. If Shirley shows up here in September, I'll
check her out. If she doesn't, I won't. I'm certainly not going to
fret about it between now and then. Life is way too short to be as
pissed off about this as you all are. Threatening to gang rape
someone's daughter is too far below even RMH for me to imagine.

And I'm sure a few more years of Becky/Shirley/whoever's bullshit and she'll
be sufficiently killfiled and ignored to the status the Panhead enjoys
today.

I see a bunch of guys that were fed a load of shit, found out it was a load
of shit, and are now calling the liar out. Nothing arrogant about it.

> Did any of you honestly think that you had a real

LOL, if that's what you think it's about then you've got your own problems
to deal with. I called her full of shit right after she posted that picture
and haven't replied much to her since this thread. I suspect back then that
she wasn't on the level, then this thread proved it, and now she's getting
what she asked for when she started spnning her bogus tale.

Sure, but I wouldn't whine about how I was treated by the people I lied to
after the fact.

Good for her (sincerely), but is that all it takes to buy you? Should I
send a check to Eddie and show up at your place in September?

There was no threat. She was enticing members of the group, a VERY PUBLIC
group (who knows what kind of lurkers we have) with her 26 year old
daughter, I figured I'd suggest a way she could speed up the end that result
she seemed to be after.

One of you're posts indicated that you're not going to let it go, that's
fine by me. As you've said, I've got no personal investment (apparently you
feel that you do), it's just a matter of a few keystrokes to keep this
going. Will it end me up in a few killfiles? Probably. Don't really care
one way or the other. It's a brand new day for me, shall we proceed?

That is a foolish insult that should be below you. It's beyond a specific
response.

Speak for yourself.

>You have NO personal investment in any of

No one does which gives you as much right to respond to her as anyone else.
In usenet, you don't actually need a personal investment to respond to a
thread (started by BeckyBoo).

> And who I invite to

That's the 2nd time you've mentioned that. Did someone question this
obvious. inalienable right?

Wow, now that's a completely over the top description of Tud's joke. Do you
actually believe this?

That does seem to be a major misconception. It would take a lot more than
some anonymous troll to get my ire up, but poking said troll can certainly
be good for some laughs. It's a sport that goes waaay back in here. The
only ones I've seen get pissed off are Becky's defenders, well, probably not
Roach or dp, disappointed by some self imposed line being crossed perhaps,
but not pissed off.

Well I guess any chance of scoring with Shriley's kids has long since
passed.
