While I was joking about you meeting Becky, just one more note here for
you, why would I memorize your vitals or your posts? You are famous?
In looking back now, I see that you got in trouble with someone with
an"i" at the end of their name not too long ago either. If you were so
joking why would you post a link to your website or picture for Becky
to see? Now I am going to shut up for a good long time, but you should
watch your marriage, and cherish it.
And, I think you left out more of your Candi story than I left out of
mine but I don't see anyone jumping all over you for that.... so yep,
there's a double standard for sure, but it works both ways.

Thank you but, you are the father of youngsters, no? I am the mother of
adults. When your children reach adulthood come back and we'll talk
that over, ok? Maybe even sooner, when they are teens. Or, reread my
post and then judge. It was *their* idea, not mine. They grew out of
carseats a long time ago. They are 26.

Coincidentally, yes. BTW, what's a pockat? I got a message that my mouse

<shaking head> Come on now, Defenders of the Boo. Read that post above! It's
a beaut! She doesn't know anything about Tinman but feels comfortable giving
him marital advice and implying that he would be unfaithful to his bride
with her "daughter". DP? Dana? Anyone? <g>
Shirley, an order please! (no not you) I think we've all had a little (very
little) to ponder in this pretty little thread so I'm putting the card on
the bar, lining up 40 shot glasses filled with Patron Silver and asking that
we all mosey up, shoot a coupla of 'em down and share a group hug.
Afterward, maybe Roach can serenade us with some nice Hawaiian melodies.

Yo, Skiv! Any recommendations on good single malts I should be trying?
Nothing too peaty, please. My daughter's BF (from Scotland) brought me
a bottle of Bruichladdich "Rocks" (Islay) that's not nearly as peaty as
some the other Islays I've tried. It's on the lighter side. Also
developed a taste for Glenmorangie, especially the Port Wood Finish 12
yr.

I'll throw my .02 cents in here. From your description, sound like you'd
like to avoid the Islay smokiness, give Balvenie, Knockando or Oban a try.

Cool - I hope y'all have a great ride.
I think I'm gonna take Thursday off as well as Friday. Ping me if your
route goes anywhere near (north south east or west) of mid north central
Indiana, maybe I'll try to catch up with ya'll if things happen to
coordinate themselves to that effect.

Yep - looks like Short Ribs can head out after work on Friday, so around
8:30 pm or so in Kittyass with an early start. Long ways to Blackfoot.

I'm thinking a few country tunes in a biker bar in Altoona
would be more appropriate.

Sissy. Ummm...Being that Islay *is* my favourite region, yer askin' the
wrong guy. But I've had a few bottles of Oban and I think you might
like that one. Penny likes sherry-cask maturation more than smoke, salt
and peat. Dalwhinnie may be one to check out, too. If you're looking
for the lighter side but want a hearty drink, Macallan is popularly
known as "The Big Malt."
My personal all-round fave is Lagavulin 16 year -- but (as Rose
Beranbaum would say) I adore the lovely quirkyness of Laphroaig. The 10
year is fantastic, but the 15 is everything a truly spiritual
experience oughta be. Next time yer in a tobbaconist's, stick yer nose
in a jar of pure Latakia -- I like that, too, but never with a malt.

I've half a bottle of Laphroaig 10-year in my lick-her cabinet right
now. I've sampled it pure, with a splash of spring water, and on the
rocks. It will definitely be an acquired taste. Just too much smokiness
at this point for me. Seems I'm leaning to Highlands ...
It's been a lot of years since I lit up a bowl, but I still remember
the strength of the Latakia. A little went a long ways in a blend.
Wouldn't have dreamed of smoking it straight. Yeah ... I'm a wuss.

Not at all. Did I say anywhere that I was speaking for r.m.h? No. I am a
part of r.m.h and you do not speak for me, ergo you do not speak for r.m.h.
I'da thought you were smart enough to get that far on your own.

You two only share one list that I know of. You know damn well what I think
